******* PRICE is 0 ****** This is a PHOTOMATCHED game-worn white road helmet of forward Michael Bunting from the 2016-17 inaugural season of the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners. (He was recalled by the NHL's Arizona Coyotes on Dec. 8, 2018 and then again in March 2021 and scored 4 goals in his first four games including his first career hat trick on April 5 vs the Kings in Loss Angeles. He has 10 goals in 20 games overall with Arizona in the 2020-21 season.) This helmet features the rare "Cunny Can" decal to support team captain Craig Cunningham, who suffered a near-fatal heart seizure during pre-game warmups before a Nov. 19, 2016 game in Tucson. The Roadrunners wore the helmet decal for the Nov. 23, 2016 game. Cunningham wound up having his lower left leg amputated one month later due to medical complications from the seizure, ending his pro hockey career. Cunningham now works as a special assistant for the NHL's Arizona Coyotes. This #27 helmet shows good overall use with Roadrunners' colored numbers on the front and back. The team logos and the AHL logo were removed when Bunting took this helmet to the Coyotes' training camp in September 2017 and got a new helmet. No size sticker remains but it looks like a size medium. It has a well-worn black Oakley logo only on the visor's left side.Great item for any Cunningham, Bunting and/or Roadrunners fan. This helmet was obtained directly from the Coyotes in a bulk equipment buy.
